hi phil,
i've just read about your adventure on the Echo website, and then looked at your great site. i'm seriously impressed. i'm from liverpool (THE ORIGINAL LIVERPOOL, home of the mighty reds!! hahaha!!) and, like many of us scousers, i'm fiercely proud of my heritage, and my city. when we won the capital of culture i was so proud and excited, and with it falling on our 800th birthday, well, all the better. i'm so glad that there are people like you out there who want to spread the fantastic liverpudlian-ness across the globe, bring the world in a bit closer, and show those other cities why they were named after Liverpool, the greatest city in the world.
good on ya, mate, and good luck for the future travels,
vicky

Hi, Phil!
I wanted to tell you how nice it was to meet you in Akron, Ohio this weekend, and how much I enjoyed listening to you and talking with you about the "when I'm 64" party that I had this summer in honor of Paul McCartney's famous birthday this past summer. As you and I agree, music is a bond that ties so many people together, and it's also the background to most of our lives~~mine happens to be filled with Beatles music! Our party was filled with people of so many different ages~as was the Beatles convention that we attended in Akron...which just goes to show you that a good thing has no age preferrence! I think that any Liverpool that you will go to~~anywhere on earth.....we all can agree that the Beatles are what we think of when we hear the word Liverpool!
Best of luck in your journeys, and keep in touch!
